Flavia Jane Roberts Johnson, age 69, of Donalsonville, Ga., passed away Sunday morning, January 14, 2018, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

Graveside services for Ms. Johnson will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Dr. Raymond Guterman officiating.  Interment will immediately follow the service with Jeff Nunnery, Matt Nunnery, Matt Darley, and John Clarke serving as active casketbearers.  Visitation will be held on Monday evening, January 15, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

Ms. Johnson was born in Donalsonville, Ga. on December 17, 1948, to Truett Roberts and Martha Jane Clarke Roberts.  She graduated from Seminole County High School and went on to earn her six year degree in Education.  During her college career, she attended Georgia Southern, Valdosta State University, and Troy State University.  She retired from teaching after 35 years, having taught all but two of those years in the Seminole County School System.  Ms. Johnson was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and several daylily clubs.  She was very interested in geaneology and researching family history.  Ms. Johnson had a love for cats passed down to her by her mother. She enjoyed reading, and she most definitely loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Ansley Johnson and his wife Kimberly of Bainbridge, Ga. and Clarke Johnson and his wife Emmelyn of Cartersville, Ga.; her brother, Dave Roberts of Donalsonville; her grandchildren, Katelyn Johnson, Alyssa Johnson, and Lily Johnson; her uncle, J.B. Clarke and his wife Laurie of Donalsonville; and cousins, Brad Clarke and his wife Debbie of Donalsonville, and Luanne Clarke of Atlanta, Ga..  She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Truett and Martha Jane Clarke Roberts.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
