Robert Edward Regan, Sr.

Robert Edward Regan, Sr., age 74, of Iron City, Ga. passed away Saturday morning, February 10, 2018 in Bainbridge, Ga.
Funeral services for Mr. Regan were held on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, Ga. where Rev. Bobby Allen Smith officiated. Interment followed in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at 1 p.m. in the church.
Mr. Regan was born in Colquitt, Ga. on Feb. 27, 1943 to Charlie Regan and Lucy Morning Gibson Regan. He was a millwright and worked for some time at LMC. Mr. Regan also enjoyed refinishing furniture and he loved to fish. His favorite way to spend his time was going and doing things with his grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Phillis Marie Regan of Iron City, Ga.; his children, Cindy Frank and Jay of Bainbridge, Ga., Melissa Sumner and Scott of Graceville, Fl., Robert Edward Regan, Jr. and Raneshia of Tallahassee, Fl., Ronald Wayne Regan of Iron City, and Alex Regan and Alexandra of Brinson, Ga.; and his sister, Becky Murkerson and Lawson of Blakely, Ga. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anna Marie Long (Kyle Wilson), Eric Childree, Gavin Scott Sumner, Haley Nicole Sumner, Troy Reviston Sumner, Emily Grace Regan, Ethan Edward Regan, Courtney Brianna Regan, Elohim Feliz, Fahrel Feliz, Rohney Felize Andrzej Jeglinski, and Sashkia Dixon; as well as his great grandchildren, Elijha Feliz, Chason Feliz, Handyen Feliz, and Andrzej Jeglinski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Regan and Lucy Morning Gibson Regan; his siblings, Douglas Regan, Charles Lindey Regan, Jessie Ray Regan, David Regan, and Wallace Regan; his daughter-in-law, Amanda Waddell Regan; and his son-in-law, Charles E. Long.
