Scott Ewing, President and Chief Executive Officer at First Port City Bank, today announced that Bainbridge native Wil Giannars has joined the bank and will serve as its newest Loan Officer.

Giannars is a 2007 graduate of Early County High School and a 2011 graduate of Mercer University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration on Accounting. He began his career with First State Bank of Blakely, where he served in Compliance, Audit and Credit Analysis.

He later assumed the lending function for the bank’s Colquitt Branch Mortgage Department.

He and his wife, the former Carlyle Alderman, of Blakely have an 18-month old daughter, Emerie Kate and are expecting a son in early November. Mrs. Giannars is a Registered Nurse with the Early County Health Department.

In his free time, Giannars enjoys spending time with his family, reading, golfing, and playing guitar.
