Bainbridge’s First National Bank’s First Adventurers Travel Club held its first ladies only Christmas in NYC trip.
“What an awesome trip with some amazing people”, said Lorenda Smith Vice President & Director of Retail and Marketing for First National Bank. “I am honored when I get to experience someone’s first visit to New York City at Christmas time. This trip is on some many ladies bucket list and it never disappoints”. Continued Smith. “The highlight for many was the 911 museum. The museum has so many artifacts on display such as “missing persons” posters, articles found in the debris, and actual footage from the tragedy. Many of us were moved to tears as we listened to the family member’s recordings and some of the last conversations with those that lost their lives. It was surreal and inspirational”.
“Not only is New York City the perfect place to shop during the holidays, visiting the Theater District for a play is a must, as well. The group saw “Beautiful” The Carole King Musical which left many to saying, “It was the best Broadway Show they had seen”.
“I’m positive that friendships were made that will last long after the trip”, said Smith.
