Abby Bennett, Langston Bennett, Kristin Bennett, Taylor Barber, and Jake Barber represented Decatur County 4-H in the Jackson County ShowRing Showdown held in Perry, GA on December 15th and 16th.  Exhibitors participated in their respective showmanship, breeding gilt, and market hog classes. 

John Johnson Elementary student, Jake Barber, was named Champion Novice Showman.  Bainbridge High School student, Taylor Barber, was named Reserve Champion Intermediate Showman.  Taylor exhibited the Supreme Champion Breeding Gilt and the Grand Champion Yorkshire Gilt.  Taylor also exhibited the 4th Overall Market Hog and Reserve Champion Heavyweight Division Market Hog.      

Jake Barber was awarded honors for the 3rd overall middleweight division market hog.
