One of our August’s Meet Your Member is Pierce Taunton. Pierce is the 15 year old son of Pierce and Trish Taunton and is in the 10th grade at Bainbridge High School. He has also been a member of the BHS FFA for four years now. As an FFA member, he has competed in career development events such as Jr. Poultry Evaluation and Nursery Landscape. Some other activities he takes part in is the Porkchop Sale, the Chicken Que, State FFA Convention, South Region Leadership Rally, the Sunbelt Ag Expo and he attends the monthly meetings. His favorite experience in the FFA is when he went to State Convention this past year. He is currently enrolled in agriculture education where he is working to complete his Ag Mechanics pathway.. A quote that inspires Pierce is the FFA Motto: “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.” Bainbridge FFA looks forward to seeing this FFA member shine.
