To our YMCA members,
With the Governor’s announcement Monday afternoon, we want to let you know what our plans are for the Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA. We plan to re-open on Monday, May 4. We are having difficulty obtaining and stocking hand sanitizer and antiseptic wipes which will help us be sure that our facility and equipment are germ free.
Our schedule will be adjusted to accommodate restrictions during the battle with this virus. We want to be sure you know that safety is our top priority.
The YMCA schedule will be (Beginning Monday, May 4) unless there is a development.
Monday through Friday 5:00am-5:00pm
Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm
Sunday – CLOSED
The pool will must remain closed per the Governor’s Executive Order.
Facilities are open for INDIVIDUALS to exercise on their own – lifting weights, walking / jogging on a treadmill, walking the track, etc.
Social Distancing is still very important.
No group activities will be allowed until the virus is no longer a concern – that includes group exercise classes, swim lessons, pick-up basketball games, group tennis lessons, etc.
We expect all members to wear a mask – maintain six feet of separation – clean equipment after each use – wash hands after each activity – and please stay home if you don’t feel well.
We will continue to follow all precautions until the virus scare is resolved, so please help us keep our community healthy and safe.
