Bainbridge Public Safety officers responded to a call on Carter Street on Thursday, May 21, where a shooting had reportedly taken place.

Upon arriving, BPS Captain Toby Miller spoke with a 17-year-old female and discovered she had been shot multiple times. EMS was then requested and the female was transported to a Tallahassee hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment for her injuries.

The case is currently active and has been turned over to BPS investigators, who are looking into any leads.
