Candy Michelle Connell Trawick, age 48, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Sunday afternoon, June 28, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Trawick will be held on Wednesday morning, July 1, 2020 at 11 a.m, at Oakview Church of God with Rev. Mylan Brookins and Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Aaron Connell, Alex Trawick, Zach Trawick, Caleb Temples, Jeffrey Croom, and Shane Trawick serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, June 30, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. We recommend that masks be worn and asking for social distancing to be practiced.
Mrs. Trawick was born in Bainbridge, Ga. on April 5, 1972, to Jack Roy Connell, Sr. and Betty Jean Shepherd Connell. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1990 and later received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science from Troy State University. She was a substance abuse counselor for the State of Georgia. Candy enjoyed gardening and Disney World trips. She was the rock of the family, always there whenever she was needed. When asked for her opinion, one could rest assured that she would give them her honest opinion. She was a member of Oakview Church of God.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Reggie Trawick of Bainbridge; her parents, Jean and Herman Brogdan of Brinson, Ga.; her mother-in-law, Norma Trawick of Iron City, Ga.; her sons, Austin Trawick and wife Morgan and Jeremy Trawick, all of Bainbridge; her brothers, Roy Connell and wife Dana of Bainbridge, Hank Connell of South Carolina, and Brent Connell of Bainbridge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Trawick was preceded in death by her father, Jack Roy Connell, Sr. and her father-in-law, Will Trawick.
