Linda Inez Thomas, age 51, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020, in Albany, Georgia.  Services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, September 21, 2020, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens.  The Rev. Brian Hatchett will officiate.  Jerry Mills, Roger Mills, Wayne Poitevint, Johnny Poitevint, John Perkins, and Rusty Poitevint will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 2 p.m.  In accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing and to wear protective masks.

Linda Inez Thomas was born January 1, 1969 to Calvin Zach Thomas, Jr. and Annette Poitevint Thomas.  She was born and raised in Bainbridge, Georgia.  Linda graduated from Bainbridge High School and attended Bainbridge College.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Linda loved her family deeply, especially her great nieces and nephews.  A devoted fan of the Bainbridge Bearcats, she always was certain to have season tickets.  One of her favorite past times was to watch the Atlanta Braves or Atlanta Falcons on television.  Linda Thomas will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.

Linda Inez Thomas is survived by her mother, Annette P. Thomas of Bainbridge; sisters, Beverly T. Eipert and husband, John of Macon, Georgia and Cheryl T. Ball and husband, Johnny Wade of Leesburg, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Justin Ball (Staci), Rebecca Daughtry (Wesley), Kimberly Trowell (Anthony), Holly Blair (Marc), and Matthew Eipert; and great nieces and nephews, Matthew Harrell, Summer Harrell, Kip Blair, Isabelle Blair, Alyssa Ball, and Tyson Ball.
