Franklin Vickers Birdsong was born September 14, 1955 in Bainbridge, the son of John Henry Birdsong, Sr. and Eula Roper Birdsong. He attended school in Bainbridge and was a member of Eldorendo Baptist Church.
Vick could do most anything he set his mind to. He was high energy and worked hard from sun up to sun down on the farm. (Vick could swim like a fish so a few times he may have taken a little break if he was near the creek.) He loved horses, motorcycles and driving semi-trucks. In fact, Vick often said, “The bigger, the better” and never let a challenging haul beat him.
Survivors include his siblings, John H. Birdsong, Jr. of Camilla, Ga, Myralynn Anne Tutwiler of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, Janice & Grant Young of Tulsa, Ok, Billy & Lynn Birdsong of Bainbridge, and Elaine Denham of Thomaston, Ga; and a host of nieces and nephews. Vick was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Don Edward Birdsong, Deloris Birdsong Tilton, and David Eugene Birdsong.
