Jenelle Richardson Dollar, 89, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Pinecrest Memory Gardens (Pelham, Ga.) with Rev. Gene Dollar officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Myrtle Jenelle Richardson was born December 25, 1930 in Moultrie, Ga., the daughter of Albert and Irene Simpson Richardson. She was a graduate of Moultrie High School. She married Calvin Eugene Dollar and they made their home in Bainbridge. Jenelle taught kindergarten for 25 years at Bainbridge Christian School. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

“Miss” Jenelle was a great teacher at school and at home. She was considered the family director as she kept everyone on schedule with the plan. “Miss” Jenelle enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, swimming, and even a little fishing. As a child she spent time hunting. “Miss” Jenelle’s loved every second of opening her home to her friends and family. She made each one feel special in their own right.

Survivors include her children, Gene & Diana Dollar of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Carolyn & Allen Glisson of Bainbridge; her brother, Wendell Richardson of Daleville, Ala.; her grandchildren, David, Libby, Gina, Lori, and Daren; her seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Jenelle was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Dollar, Sr.; and her sister, Willa Dean Langley.
