Lyndal Drinkwater Tibbets

Lyndal Drinkwater Tibbets, age 85, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020.  Born and raised in Bainbridge, Lyndal graduated from Bainbridge High School and attended Valdosta State College. She was a talented singer who enjoyed playing scrabble as well as playing the ukulele and painting. For a time, she was very successful in property management and was an accomplished master gardener.

Lyndal is survived by her daughter, Celeste Tibbets; son, William E. Tibbets, Jr., grandson, Ian Surkalo, beloved nieces and nephews, including Ekela Fautanu, Jewel Fautanu, Kekoa Gregory, Susan Gregory and many dear cousins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Tibbets, Sr., and her parents, Rufus and Amilee Drinkwater. Southcare Funeral and Cremation Society of Stockbridge, Ga,, assisted the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
