Billy Steve Singleton, 83, of Camilla, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at his residence. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Rev. Conrad Salter will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tracy Singleton, Jamie Singleton, Chris Singleton, Randy Haliday, Frank Jordan and Kent Wisham.

Mr. Singleton was a retired self-employed mechanic and owner of Singleton’s Garage. Born September 15, 1937 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late John A. and Luna Pearl Taylor Singleton. He is survived by his loving fiancé, Cheryl Moree; his children Teresa Wisham (Kent) and Cindy Brock; grandchildren Leslie Brock, Jana Jordan (Frank), Brandon Brock (Darbie) Emily Singleton, Kaylen Singleton, Kennedy Singleton, Tanner Singleton, great grandchildren River Jordan, Dylen Brock, Jessie Deitzel; brother, Tony Singleton (Kitty); numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat – Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steve Singleton; brothers John Singleton, Carroll Singleton and Robert Singleton; sister Margarette Dodson.
