Mr. Seabe “Larry” Cook of Colquitt, Ga. died February 23, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Cook’s Union Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Mills officiating. Pall Bearers were Richard Cook, Casper Cook, Josh Cook, Tommy Rogers and Adam Bass. Internment followed at Cook’s Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation was Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Cook’s Union Methodist Church.
Mr. Cook served in the Navy and retired as a Registered Nurse from Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Ga. He was a member of the William M. Wilson VFW Post #6046 and the Gerald Grow Post #165 American Legion, as well as a member of Cook’s Union Methodist Church in Colquitt, Ga..
He is survived by one son, Alan (Janice) Cook of Doerun, Ga.; one daughter, Marsha (Dennis) Dollar of Bainbridge, Ga.; four grandchildren, Lacey Cook, Richard (Crystal) Cook, Casper Cook and Josh (Casey) Cook; two step-grandchildren, Marshall Sapp and Cade Griffin; two brothers, Richard (Pat) Cook of Colquitt, Ga. and Gene Cook of Donalsonville, Ga.; and one sister, Irene (Joe) Bush of Blakely, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sara Oliver Cook; one son, Tobey Cook; and one brother, Don Cook.
