Dean Otto, 78, of Lake Seminole, formerly of Findlay, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021.

Wiley Dean Otto was born February 22, 1943 in Bellevue, Ohio, the son of Wiley Delmar Otto and Dorthy Wise Otto. He was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School and served in the United States Navy Seabees during Vietnam. Dean married Diane Spangler in 1966 and they made their home in Findlay. He worked as a Greyhound driver and charter captain on Lake Erie though he would fish anytime and anywhere. Dean and Diane moved south to Lake Seminole in 2009 where he enjoyed the warm weather, good fishing, and friendly folks. Although he moved to SEC land, Ohio State was still his favorite football team.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Diane J. Otto; and his siblings, Delbert R. Otto of McComb, Ohio, Shirley Warhimont of Ottowa, Ohio and Sandy Porter of Odessa, Fla.. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his grandparents, Massilon Otto, Madaline Monk, and Clyde & Bessie Wise; and his sister, Beverly Ricker.
