Julia Gail Whigham White, age 76, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, at Roselawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Lynn Roberts will officiate.
Julia Gail Whigham was born June 28, 1944 in Cairo, Georgia. Her parents, Audrey David Whigham and Agnes Lee Fiskus Whigham, have preceded her in death. Gail married Kenneth White, who passed away August 28, 1986. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Gail adored her daughters and deeply loved their families. She was immensely proud of each of them and reveled in each endeavor or accomplishment. She loved golf and passed that enjoyment on to her talented grandson, Jack. Gail leaves nothing behind but sweet memories. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many, many friends. As her health declined, she would remind her loved ones to “live life to the fullest”.
Gail Whigham White is survived by her daughters, Shea Harrell and husband, James (Red) of Bainbridge and Paige Coleman and husband, Yates of Aiken, South Carolina; sister, Juanita Gaines of Arlington, Georgia; grandchildren, Mackenzie McElvy and husband, Cody, Brice Harrell, and Jack Coleman; and cousin, Ruth Fiskus. She was thrilled to recently learn her first great-grandchild will be born in the fall. Gail was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Linda Whigham Lee and Jimmy Whigham.
