Mr. Oscar Clayton Givens of Brinson died Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Bainbridge Memorial. Funeral services were Friday, December 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment followed at Mother’s Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Rae Givens, Clay Givens, Zach Givens, Cole Hyatt, Rick McCall, and Matt Harrell serving as pall bearers. Visitation was Friday, December 17, 2021, at Colquitt Funeral Home from noon- 1p.m.

Mr. Givens was a retired farmer and was a member of Unity Church of God in Iron City, Ga., and of the YMCA in Bainbridge.

He is survived by two sons, Tony Givens of Brinson, Ga., and Jeff Givens of Bainbridge, Ga.; four grandchildren, Zach (Taylor) Givens, Kaley (Chris) Moates, Macey Givens, Casey (Heather Sapp) Givens; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Clenney of Cedar Springs, Ga. Mr. Givens was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Givens and one great grandson, Braxton Lee Givens.
