Augusta Earl Williams was born March 5, 1958, to Benjamin M. Williams, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Levens Williams in Bainbridge, Georgia.
Augusta, affectionately known as “Sugarman”, received his education from the Decatur County Georgia school system. The funeral was held Monday, January 3, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., at Bethel Cemetery, Bethel Rd., Bainbridge, Ga. Bishop Sean C. Watkins officiated.
Augusta leaves to cherish his memories two children: LaShanda Renee Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, and Emanuel Earl Williams of St. Petersburg, Florida; four grandchildren: Donald Williams, Damion Williams, Crishunna Williams and Kadeja Williams all of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers: Richard L. Williams of Irvington, N.J. and Melvin (Mary) Williams of Attapulgus, Georgia; two sisters: Ernestine Williams of Largo, Florida, and Dorothy (Daughtry) Melton of Attapulgus, Georgia; one God-Sister: Cynthia Harris of Fowlstown, Georgia; two Sister-in-laws: Dorothy M.
