Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lane Bush of Bainbridge, Georgia, are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kay Elizabeth Bush to Shane Michael Buerster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Edmund Buerster of Pooler, Georgia.

The bride-elect graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2014 and Mercer University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She will also graduate from Mercer University School of Medicine as a Doctor of Medicine in May 2022. She will then begin her General Surgery Residency in July 2022.

Miss Bush is the granddaughter of Mrs. Patsy Taylor Bush of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, the late Joseph Onlice Bush of Colquitt, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Heidt Forston Neal III of Columbus, Georgia.

The groom-to-be is a 2014 graduate of Richmond Hill High School. Mr. Buerster graduated from Mercer University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Business degree in Economics, Entrepreneurship and Spanish. He is the CEO and Founder of Z Beans Coffee, LLC and Z Beans Coffee Shops, LLC.

Mr. Buerster is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Adams of Savannah, Georgia, Mrs. Eleanor Nadine Buerster of Salem, Illinois and the late Mr. Delbert Joseph Buerster of Olney, Illinois.

The wedding is planned for April 23, 2022 at The Bibb Mill and Event Center in Columbus, Georgia at 6 p.m.
