Mr. Arlie Eugene (Chuckie) Burris, Jr., age 44, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Bainbridge, Georgia.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Blackjack Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Arlie Eugene (Chuckie) Burris, Jr. was born August 3, 1977, in Bainbridge, Georgia to Arlie Eugene Burris, Sr. and Elizabeth Atkinson Burris.  Chuckie was very artistic.  He painted beautiful pictures.  He was a talented builder.  He could take any old thing and build something special.  He enjoyed playing video games.  Chuckie had a good heart and cared deeply for his family.  Chuckie Burris will be missed by his family and many friends.

Arlie Burris is survived by his children, Courtney Burris of Panama City, Florida, Kinsley Elizabeth Hoose of Dothan, Alabama, and Micah Meredith of Bainbridge, Georgia; siblings, Gail Hornsby (Ronnie) of Whigham, Georgia, Patty Bernier (Tommy) of Donalsonville, Georgia, Teresa Torres (Dennis) of Climax, Georgia, and Alton Kent (Buck) Burris of Bainbridge.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Carlie Elizabeth Burris, and fiancé, Misty Meredith.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Blackjack Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Charles Brock, 1608 Vada Road, Bainbridge, Georgia 39817.
