Clinton Michael Barnett (Mike), 65, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away surrounded by love on February 26, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stanley Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com.

Mike was born December 5, 1956, at the US Naval Base in Jacksonville, Fla. He moved to Italy as a child before settling down in Vero Beach, Florida, with his mother. Immersed in all things artistic and beachy. His love of music, nature, and simplicity was evident throughout his entire life. He loved his career as a carpenter but loved his friends and family even more. His favorite times were simple—playing his drums, listening to music, trivia with friends, or just hanging out with the people he enjoyed to be around. Mike was a great example of how to live a life of simpleness, love, humility, and courage. Humor should have been his middle name though as his comedic wit was unmatched and perfectly timed. While the twinkle in his eye will be sorely missed here on Earth, we can all take comfort in knowing Heaven gained an amazing soul that can lighten any mood with laughter and tunes.

Mike is survived by his two children, Eva Fletcher and Toby Barnett; mother Suzanne Pace (James); stepfather Bob McGraw (Carol); biological father Clinton Barnett; siblings Sean McGraw (Karly), Brian McGraw, Jay Barnett, Kara Barnett; grandchildren Ryker, Ian, and Nolan Fletcher; several nieces and nephews, and a multitude of close friends he considered family as well.
