Joseph T. “Joey” Bass, 64, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Massey officiating.

Joseph Tyrone Bass was born February 2, 1958, in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Tommy & Yvonne Epps Bass. He attended Bainbridge High School and was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church.

Joey lived a life of quiet solitude. His nieces and nephews brought him great joy. Joey loved to hear tales of their comings and goings and was proud of their accomplishments. He enjoyed playing the drums and will be remembered for his drumming with the Sounds of Calvary band.

Survivors include his parents; his siblings, Dale Bass and Vonda & William Friend; his nieces & nephews, Melinda Bass, Tya & James Robinson, Jordan & Wayne Black, Jack & Katie Bass, Brendon Bass, Chris & Kristin Smith, and Michael & Whitney Friend; and a host of extended family.
