Tim Scarbrough, 56 of Climax, Ga., passed away Thursday September 8, 2022. Tim was born in Bainbridge, Georgia, on July 23, 1966. He was the son of Willis (preceeded in death) and Gloria Jean Scarbrough. Tim is survived by his daughter, Brittnee Davis of Pelham, Georgia, and two grandchildren Rosalina and Damien Laford, two sisters Lawanna Maples (Jon King) and Dwalla Harrell (Ken Harrell), three nephews Blake Harrell (Sina), Chase Harrell, John Willis Maples and one niece Brandi Myers (Jayson) and three great-nephews, Logan Harrell, Braxton and Kolson Myers. Tim is preceeded in death by his father Willis Scarbrough, grandparents LaRue and Lucy Belle Dennard, and Albert Grady and Eleanor Mae Scarbrough and nephew Dylan Ross Maples. Tim was an avid Harley rider and enjoyed riding whenever he got the chance. Tim and his partner in crime Diesel drove for DK Trucking and Logging in Bainbridge. Tim enjoyed grilling, smoking and creating some of the best food you could ever eat. To know Tim was to love him or not, and if you didn’t, he didn’t care. If he loved you he loved you big. Tim was the first to dig in his wallet if he heard of a need, whether a poker run for someone in need, Christmas Toy runs or any other benefit that there was a need for. You never had to guess where you stood with Tim. He was brutally honest and if he thought it he usually said it. The family extends our heart felt thanks to everyone who has reached out to us during this difficult time.
