Phillip Jack Davis was born August 7, 1982, in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Kimberly & Sheila Nolen Davis. After high school, Phil continued working in the concrete industry eventually going out on his own with Phil Davis Concrete. Many claim he was an expert when it came to finishing concrete. Phil and his wife, Kristina Pangborn Davis, made their home in Seminole County. He attended Cedar Springs Free Will Baptist Church.
Phil was that good ol’ southern boy that enjoyed riding ATVs, fishing, and detonating Tannerite. “Get togethers” with family and friends usually included a bonfire and food. Phil was known for his ribs, steaks, fish fries, and deep-fried turkeys. He had a mighty sense of humor and often joked he “always ate fish straight out of Spring Creek and hoped one day the fish would eat him”. Those closest to Phil tout his hugs as “The Best”.
Survivors include his wife, Kristina Davis; his children, Trinityann McKenna of Orange City, Fla., Aleah Monn and Dakota Gibson, both of Iron City; his parents, Kimberly Davis and Sheila Davis; his brothers, Thomas Richard Davis of Brandon, Miss., and Robert Daniel Davis of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and a host of extended family.
Bryant Funeral Home, located at 105 N. Florida Street, is assisting the family with arrangements. (229-246-3321)
