A-1 Industries is actively seeking to expand its workforce in Bainbridge and has planned a career fair to facilitate the hiring process. The career fair will take place at the Firehouse Art Gallery next Tuesday from 3:00-7:00 PM. This event aims to attract potential candidates interested in joining the company.
Robert Chance, Vice President of A-1 Human Resources, shared further details about the company’s recruitment efforts in an interview with the Post-Searchlight. He mentioned his plans to visit local churches in the morning before the career fair to connect with individuals who may be interested in employment opportunities. Additionally, A-1 will be hosting a health fair the following morning at their facility, demonstrating their commitment to the well-being of their employees.
Chance expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming career fair and emphasized A-1’s eagerness to find individuals seeking long-term career prospects. He also highlighted A-1’s recent transition to employee ownership, mentioning that employees become eligible to receive company stock after completing one year of employment.
While A-1 has organized job fairs in the community in the past, this will be the first one held downtown at the Firehouse Art Gallery. Michael Fagan, the Director of Marketing, described downtown as the “heart of Bainbridge,” emphasizing the significance of the location choice. The fair will follow a meet-and-greet format, allowing candidates to interact with A-1 representatives and learn more about the available positions.
A-1 Industries is specifically looking for candidates to fill production training positions and CDL drivers, among others. The company aims to attract individuals interested in joining a premier employer in the area. Fagan expressed his excitement about A-1’s standing within the community and emphasized the company’s dedication to growth and collaboration.
Fagan’s extensive experience in the building component industry further reinforces his confidence in A-1’s operations in Bainbridge. He emphasized that he has visited manufacturing facilities across the United States and Canada and firmly believes that A-1’s operation in Bainbridge stands out as the finest. He concluded by stating that A-1 is thrilled to grow alongside the community.
