With the Bainbridge Little Theatre’s season coming to an end, audiences packed the venue over the weekend for the last show of the season, “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” According to Krystal Apke, the theatre sold out every showing, receiving mostly positive feedback, with some describing it as “their best Jr. show yet.”
“We definitely enjoy our Jr. productions,” Apke said. “They’re fun, and stories that we know and love. We get to see grown-ups experiencing the magic of something they cherished in childhood.”
While the current season is over, there won’t be a very long break in-between now and the next, with auditions for next season set to begin on August 7-8. The first production will be “May We All”, a musical production created by country music duo Florida-Georgia Line, with showings at the BLT set to begin in late September. One thing that will change in the new season, according to Apke, is that patron packages for the Little Theatre will now include tickets to five shows, rather than just four.
