For hunters and outdoorsmen interested in getting a silencer, there is a lengthy legal process one must go through to get approval, not just with forms to fill out, but supplying one’s fingerprints as well. This process could take weeks to complete; now, Flint River Outfitters offers a one-stop kiosk that greatly simplifies and shortens this process.

Acquired from Silencer Shop, this kiosk features a fingerprint scanner, allowing applicants to cut the lengthy fingerprint submission process down, as well as enter all their necessary personal information instantly.

“It’s ten million times easier to do it for the average individual,” Blake Daughtry, manager at Flint River Outfitters told the Post-Searchlight. “It used to be a whole process, so a lot of people didn’t want to dabble into doing it.”

There are similar kiosks at outdoor shops in surrounding counties, but now local sportsmen have one right in Bainbridge to take advantage of. “It still takes a few days to get all the paperwork filled in, get all the information filled in… whereas, it used to be three weeks just to get the fingerprints, much less getting all the paperwork done,” Daughtry said.
