The Ladycats lost 37-51 to Seminole County in a tale of two halves.
The game was close in the first— Bainbridge was up 21-20 going into halftime. The Lady Indians came back in the second half and outscored the Ladycats 31-16 to secure the victory.
Ladycats head coach Danny Evans took credit for what he called an “embarrassing” loss.
“It starts and ends with me,” Evans said. “I’ve got to do a better job at getting them ready to play.”
The Ladycats welcome Hardaway High School to Bainbridge for their next matchup. The home game tips off at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
