Local law enforcement responded to a shooting on 1403 Avenue A, off of Faceville Highway, on Sunday afternoon. They arrived to find one male deceased at the scene. According to BPS Director Frank Green, the incident began as a domestic dispute between the man, identified as Oharra Reggeynaulde Thomas, and his girlfriend. The incident escalated when the woman’s family got involved, ultimately leading to Thomas being shot.

Three arrests were made, those being Brianna Chandler, Anthony Tyrone Chandler, and Angela Balogun. The case is currently under investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
