Marilyn Denise Harrison was born October 29, 1963, in Albany, GA, the daughter of Sam Harrison & Mary Scott Harrison. Denise and Ron made their home in Bainbridge where she served “her customers” at Cook Appliance for many years. She attended Southwest Baptist Church.

Denise developed a strong work ethic at an early age. She was a hard worker dedicated to her employer, her colleagues, and her customers. The mantra she lived by was: “Do it right the first time.” Always on the go, she could sniff out a flea market in most any community and get the best deal on the premises in ten seconds or less. She loved to shop and always had clothes, shoes, and fingernails in order. Denise was passionate about her family and made sure you knew her grands were greater than yours.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ron McMillan; her children, Lisa & Douglas Stinnett and George & Crystal McMillan; her grandchildren, Bricen, Careygan, Brantley, Averi, Anna, Elizabeth, Jade, Eden, Emily, and Lizzie; her great-grandchild, Emilio; her mother, Mary Harrison; her siblings, Patty Sloniker (Bob) of Tallahassee, Sammy Harrison (Charlotte) of Donalsonville, Eddie Pope (Tammy) of Quincy, and her sister-in-law, Debra Eakin of Bainbridge; her faithful companion and guard dog, Drake; and a host of extended family. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Samuel C. “Sam” Harrison, and her brother, Jim Pope.
