The Bainbridge Rotary Club met for their weekly meeting at the Kirbo Center on Tuesday. The guest speaker of the day was Karen Tobin, president of the Chamber of Commerce. Tobin gave an overview of some of the new business underway at the Chamber, including the revival of the Chamber’s ambassadorship program, as well as plans to change the Chamber’s logo. She also reminded the club that the Chamber is approaching 100 years old, having been created in 1926.
Tobin then gave a brief overview of the Chamber’s current staff, as well as the various events and programs it hosts or participates in throughout the year, including Rivertown Days, the Chamber Awards Ceremony, and the fair, as well as programs like Bearcat Workforce Now.
Following her presentation, Tobin concluded by taking questions from the audience.
