Bainbridge has had several local residents go on to make a name for themselves at the state, national, and even international level. Henry Leverett is one of those individuals. Son of Dr. Jack and Ashley Leverett, Henry and his brother Jackson previously competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, both on the men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Team. Henry is returning as an Olympian this year, now participating in this year’s Paris Olympics.

Both Henry and Jackson got into shooting through the local 4-H program when both were kids. Both have been on the Ohio State University Pistol Team, and their younger sister Abbie has followed in their footsteps, taking up shooting as well.

The Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol qualifiers are set to begin this Sunday, August 4, and will conclude with the finals the following Monday.
