The Bearcat football team lent a hand to the Bainbridge Decatur County Recreation Authority over the weekend, helping the rec authority staff fit the youth tackle football teams for their helmets and shoulder pads on Saturday.
According to head coach Jay Walls, roughly 15-20 Bearcat players helped, alongside the other BHS football coaches.
“It was fun to meet the kids and the parents,” Walls said. “I thought our coaches and players did a great job. The Rec director Joel Holmes and his staff did a really good job.”
Walls also stated that the Rec football teams will be recognized at an October home game.
