J. Christine Esthetique announced on August 15th that they are sharing a space with Linens & Pearls downtown on 200 North Broad Street.
Jennifer Cannon, owner of J. Christine, stated the reason for the merger was because, “I love her store, and I love her clothes and their vibe. A lot of my clientele shops with her and we have the same line of clientele, and they were closing. A lot of my clients were upset about it, and I was upset about it. So, we have all of this room, and I thought it would be a great partnership.” Sandra “Sammie” Bushore, owner of Linens and Pearls, expressed the same sentiment, saying, “I think it is a mutual benefit for us to pool our resources and location and what we do complements each other. So, I moved to the square and then of course, Jennifer has been here for five years. It seems like a really good combination.”
The stores will keep their separate names and offer the same products and services. “We haven’t changed anything. We still do gift wrapping. We still offer personal services and of course, Jennifer hasn’t changed anything she’s doing,” stated Bushore.
