Vivian Jean Hussey was born January 17, 1945, in Panama City, Florida, the daughter of Melvin & Ruth Ketchem Hussey. With deep roots in Southwest Georgia, Vivian decided to return home 15 or so years ago. Many will remember her friendly smile from the Pizza Hut in Bainbridge. Vivian was Baptist by faith.

Vivian held a strong faith in God and shared with others at every opportunity. Often she acted as the hands and feet of Jesus giving without expecting and sometimes when she had little to give. Vivian was a workaholic and stayed busy. She owned a five-star cleaning service in Florida where she met many loyal customers. Independent and determined, Vivian never allowed obstacles to be anything more than stepping stones on her faith journey.

Survivors include her children, Cynthia Bodiford Quigg (Ray) and Tony Bodiford (Cecilia) all of Coolidge, GA; several grandchildren; and her nieces & nephews, Deborah & John, Sandy & Gary, and Tammy. In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husbands, Louie Bodiford and Lester Jackson; and her siblings, Sylvia Godwin and Milford Hussey.

Bryant Funeral Home, located at 105 N. Florida Street, is assisting the family with arrangements. (229-246-3321)
