ABAC Bainbridge hosted a reception in honor of students who were awarded scholarships from the Scholarship Foundation of Southwest Georgia, previously the Bainbridge State College Foundation, and the ABAC Foundation for the 2024-2025 year. Fifty-three students received scholarships totaling nearly $40,000. The Scholarship Foundation of Southwest Georgia is chaired by Bill Burke. Also on the Board of Directors are Bruce Mann, Dr. Michael Kirkland, Dr. Jack Leverett, Charlie Kirbo, Steffi Vines, Erwin Harrell, and Christina Reneau. Erin Lenz is the Foundation’s Coordinator.
Dr. Tracy Brundage, ABAC President, and Dr. Michael Kirkland, Executive Director of ABAC Bainbridge, recognized students as well as the generosity of the many donors who make the scholarships possible. Erin Lenz brought greetings from the Foundation. Students who were recognized for their academic achievements came from seven southwest Georgia counties. ABAC Bainbridge thanks both foundations for their generous support of all these talented students.
