On Thursday, December 12, Mark Whitley received a special letter of appreciation, presented by Larry Clayton on behalf of the American Legion. The letter was given in recognition of Whitley’s help with the Tallahassee Veteran’s Day parade.

“I was in a bind,” Clayton recalled, “and I’m a customer of Mark’s. So I called him and said, ‘Mark, I need a trailer.’” On short notice, Whitley provided the Legion with a trailer to help carry disabled veterans in the parade.

“This is the first opportunity we’ve had,” Whitley said, in response to being asked if he had done anything like this before, “and we jumped on it, and we would continue to do it every year, or anytime Larry or anybody else needed it. I want to thank Larry for the opportunity… it’s special to be able to help.”
