David and Brenda Donalson of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Jana Dee Donalson of Bainbridge, to Richard Fain Ivey Jr., son of Dick and Diane Ivey, also of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Peggy and Ralph Henry, and Mary and Lester Donalson, all deceased. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2002, and obtained an associate degree in nursing from Bainbridge College in 2009.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Nell Miles, the late Caroline and Ralph Ivey; of Wynema Miles, and the late Raymond Miles.

He is a 1998 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated from Georgia Southern in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation. He is employed by Texpar Energy LLC.

The wedding is planned for April 9 at the First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge beginning at 6:30 p.m. The reception will follow at the Bainbridge Country Club. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent, but all friends and family are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
