South Bainbridge loses power after vehicle hits power pole

Large portions of southern Bainbridge lost power Tuesday evening, after a driver hit a power pole and fled the scene, according to Bainbridge Public Safety.
According to BPS, at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday, a driver’s vehicle collided with the pole near the intersection of Washington and Eva streets. The driver reportedly left the scene, and was still being sought at press time. Power was restored to most of the affected area by 9:30 p.m.
No other information was immediately available.
