Several former Bainbridge Bearcats and area football players played well in televised games this past Saturday.

Former Bearcat and current University of Georgia starting middle linebacker Darryl Gamble had two solo tackles and four assisted tackles in the Bulldogs’ 34-10 victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville, Tenn. this past Saturday. Gamble now has 36 total tackles on the year, the third highest on the team behind Rennie Curran—his mentor at the linebacker position—and defensive back Reshad Jones.

Former Seminole County Indian Bacarri Rambo had three solo tackles and a pass breakup for UGA. Rambo’s two interceptions on the season, both of which came during the Bulldogs’ loss to Louisiana State Tigers, tie him for the team lead with Brandon Boykin and put him tied for thirteenth in the statistical category among Southeastern Conference players.
