St. Louis Rams defensive back James Butler, a former All-Region 1AAAA defensive back with the Bainbridge High School Bearcats, will hold his fourth annual Dream Foundation weekend on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21.
The weekend will kick off Friday, May 20 with a 7:30 p.m. celebrity basketball game at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum.
The Dream Foundation Football Camp will be held Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at Centennial Field. Camp flyers are available at all Decatur County elementary schools.
Camp registration can also be completed online at JBDreamFoundation.com or on the reverse side of the printed camp flyer and turned into any of the elementary schools’ offices.
Butler, a former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket All-Atlantic Coast Conference defensive back, was a member of the 2007 Super Bowl XLII champion New York Giants. He currently plays for the St. Louis Rams.
Butler said he is looking forward to conducting the camp again.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to give back to the community that did so much for me as a child, and offered tremendous support during the course of my career,” he said. “It is my hope that through this year’s camp I may enhance not only participants skills, but also their confidence in themselves and their future and character.”
