Funeral services for Lynda Sue White Bryan, 71, of Blakely, Ga., will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at 1 p.m., in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home in Blakely, with the Rev. Warren Fox and Rev. Chris Holdorf officiating.
Interment will follow in the Blakely Cemetery, with grandsons and nephews acting as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bryan was born March 13, 1941, in Camilla, Ga., and died Aug. 25, 2012, at Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely.
She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church in Bainbridge, and was a retired caregiver in the Don Duvall Home in Bainbridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd White and Susie McCracken White; a son, Michael Davis; her husband, George Orlando Bryan; and a sister, Sarah Glover.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Davis and wife Carol of Arlington, Ga.; two daughters, Debra Williams and husband, Al, of Bluffton, Ga., Malisa Cox and husband, Dalton, of Fort Gaines, Ga.; five sisters, Eunice Waller and Evelyn Powell and husband, William, of Blakely, Carolyn Glass and husband, Bryan, and Dianne Brock, all of Bainbridge, and Laura Musgrove and husband, Charles, of Colquitt, Ga.; two brothers, Rodney White and wife Shirley of Valdosta, Ga., and Tommy White and wife, Shirley, of Bainbridge; six grandchildren, Rocky Davis and Abby of Morgan, Ga., April Bush and Isaac of Colquitt, Autumn Williams of Bluffton, Chris Cox and Kayla of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., Leanna Cox of Fort Gaines, and Aaron Davis of Arlington; and two great-grandchildren, Emma Davis of Morgan, Ga., and Alan Cox of Colorado.
Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
