Jerome and Jeannie Alday of Bainbridge are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Paige Alday, of Bainbridge, to Nicholas Scott Weathersby, the son of Leatha Barber, of Climax, and Scott Weathersby, of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jessie and Mattie Smith and Ralph and Theo Earnest and Robert Alday, all deceased.

Miss Alday is a 2006 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Dot Weathersby, of Bainbridge, and the late Connel and Shelby Phillips and Harry Weathersby.

Mr. Weathersby graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2002. He is employed by BASF in Attapulgus.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Climax Depot, where the reception will follow. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
