Coach Lisa Enfinger’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats and Lady Cats cross-country teams finished third and fourth in 16-team fields at Saturday’s Lincoln High School Trojans and Lady Trojans Invitational Meet, in Tallahassee, Fla.
Bearcat Chase Harris was fourth overall, finishing the 5,000-meter (3.1-mile) course in a time of 17 minutes, 3 seconds.
Lady Cats sisters Amber and Paige Braswell were sixth and seventh overall, with times of 21:53 and 22:10, respectively.
“It was a great race and our team’s hard work is really beginning to show in the race results,” Enfinger said. “Our top five boys were all under 20 minutes.”
Bainbridge’s Tae Ross finished in 18:44, Bennett finished in 18:51, Brad Cox finished in 19:11, and Brendan Greene finished in 19:55.
