Richard Roland Glover was born to Roy Kedric Glover and Jeanne Cowart Glover on September 7, 1957 in Bainbridge.
Richard departed this life in St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, Ga., on December 21, 2012 surrounded by his beloved family.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, Ala., at 2 p.m. EST.
Richard was preceded by his father, Roy Kedric Glover, Sr. He is survived by his beloved companion Patricia Hall; three daughters, Cherie Glover of San Jose, Calif., Kimberly Dager and husband Tom of Locust Grove, Ga., and Ann Flores and husband Rich of Simpsonville, S.C.; his mother, Jeanne Cowart Glover of Bainbridge; two sisters, Kathy Glover Harris and Debra Glover Riddle, both of Bainbridge; 2 brothers, Roy Kedric Glover Jr. and wife Jan of Lagrange, Ga., and E. Wade Glover and wife Caroline of Great Mills, Md.; grandchildren, Seth Kedrick Stockwell of San Jose, Calif. and Antonio and Sylvia Flores of Simpsonville, S.C.; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Richard was a 1975 alumnus of Bainbridge High School and a 27-year employee of Precision Components International Inc. of Columbus, Ga.
Richard deeply loved his family and cherished the friendships of his co-workers. He loved the Flint River and enjoyed many happy hours of fishing and exploring his favorite fishing areas. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.
