Two companies based in Perry, Ga., are planning to bring a new motel/hotel to Bainbridge.
John Nichols of Legacy Hospitality Management of Perry, Ga., is the developer on the project, said Shrad Amrit, an architect and businessman who is also involved with the project.
The new business will be located on U.S. Highway 27 South near the Tractor Supply, on a 3.163-acre parcel.
Bran Hospitality, headquartered in Perry, bought the property from Bank of the Ozarks. Bran Hospitality has lodgings in several Georgia cities.
The company owns Hampton Inn franchises in Americus and Vidalia, and Holiday Inn Express franchises in Macon and Americus.
Amrit, Bran’s CEO, said LHM hopes to break ground on the project in July or August of this year. He said more specific details on the project will be released at that time.
A company profile said Bran Hospitality was formed in 1994.
