The Bainbridge High School junior-varsity Bearcats baseball team snapped a five-game losing streak recently, as they defeated Cairo 6-3 on Tuesday, April 9.

Tyler Braswell was the starting pitcher and Stanton Long later came on with a strong relief effort.

The Bearcats scored four runs in the first inning after the first four batters reached base. Blake Merchant had a two-run single in the first.

Long added a two-run double in the sixth.
