The Bainbridge High School band program will present its annual spring concert and awards program on Thursday, May 2.
The concert will be held in the BHS gym and will begin at 7 p.m.   The BHS Concert Band, under the direction of James Sewell, will perform at the program, followed by the BHS Symphonic Band, which is under the direction of Bandmaster Paschal Ward.
Both of these bands recently received “superior” ratings at the Georgia Bandmasters Concert Band Festival for the 28th consecutive year.
Ward stated that the entire band program is looking forward to sharing an evening of entertainment with the citizens of Bainbridge and indeed everyone in Decatur County.
Both middle school band programs will be presenting their spring concerts on May 7, in the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum.  Admission is free and the public is invited to attend both of these concerts.
