James W. “Bill” Barber

James W. “Bill” Barber, 85, passed away at his home in Niceville, Fla. on Dec. 2, 2013. A resident of Bainbridge, Ga. for the majority of his life, he was the son of Madge Barber and Sam Barber.
A Navy veteran, Bill worked for Bates and Associates of Bainbridge for most of his working career.
He is survived by his wife, Dot Barber; daughters, Ginger Perren (Jimmy), Jil McCain (Kyle); five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; brothers Guy and Jerry Barber and a sister Beverly Whaley.
Services were held Dec. 5 at Niceville United Methodist Church.
